HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAIRE

Hello everyone and welcome to our Report.

Firstly I apologise for not posting earlier in the week, I had Telstra and Bigpond problems, I'll say no more on that!!!

RACING SATURDAY - 9AM START

REPRISAL

FLEMINGTON SATURDAY - 2500m

THE LEXUS STAKES

HOPING TO COME HOME IN THE FIRST 5

David said that Reprisal has improved everytime on the track so should be exciting to watch over the 2500m. It is a long shot for a win but certainly suggest each way bet, it is a good field to match up against and see where its at. GOOD LUCK REPRISAL.

CHIRON

Very disappointing at Northam, Dion has said its time to move on.

AMELIA PARK

Peter enjoyed catching up with Susan on the weekend, there was the odd empty Whisky Bottle (Susan's favourite) and the lights were still on very early am, so fun was had by all.

INTERNATIONAL HOCKEY - BUSSELTON

KOOKABURRAS VERSUS PAKISTAN

Peters good friend Brent is in the team for Australia who are playing Pakistan tonight so the family are off to enjoy the game. COME ON AUSSIES!

TO CLAIRE - A BIG WARM HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AND WELCOME TO AMELIA PARK

Sammi is thrilled that her World Travelling Companion has come to visit her for the first time here in our great South West.

THE TOWN WONT BE THE SAME!!!

After their first night of terrorising, the family will help celebrate HER BIG DAY with Dinner at world renowned Flutes Restaurant - what a night that should be!

Sammi has made up a VERY BUSY ITINERARY for them for the next week so I hope they all get ticked off.

LEAH is now at Amelia Park with head down doing as much studying as the hours in the day allow. Peter said how PROUD of her he is as coming from Kuala Lumpur 2 years ago and adapting to our culture and schooling has been a great achievement and her marks have been excellent. These Exam Results will see her go on to University and continue to strive for her goals in typical Walsh fashion.

PETER, FAMILY AND STAFF WISH YOU OUR VERY BEST LOVE AND BRIGHT LIGHTS.

A FALL AT THE TRACK

Aliese unfortunately had a major fall at Amelia Park. Peter was thankful to the Staff for the efficient way it was all handled including all safety measures. With her tough attitude we know Aliese will come thru and be back in the saddle in no time. WE ALL SEND OUR WARM GET WELL SOON WISHES.

Peter was impressed and thankful with Dion's quick response of sending down one of his Riders immediately to assist Cristy and the staff.

All else at the Farm is steady with lots of weed spraying, maintenance on all the pumps and reticulation systems in readiness for Summer - WE WOULD LIKE MORE RAIN BEFORE THEN TO FILL THE TANKS !!!!

We hope you have a great LONG WEEKEND and enjoy your RACING.

regards

THRILLED WITH THE FOALS

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Report.

SYDNEY / MELBOURNE TRIP
Peter returned on Saturday and reported that he had a great trip with Brian and John.
Peter was thrilled with the 5 Foals and 2 Yearlings at Coolmoore. They all look in great condition, maybe 1 looking on the weak side but still a lot of growing to do yet.

Then it was down to Euroa in Melbourne where David Hayes has just completed STATE OF THE ART Horse Training Complex - Lindsay Park Euroa.
Peter was lost for words (well not really), he said the place is unbelievable and is 2nd to none in the World - Peter has been and seen alot of Complexes in his travels. Everything there is TOP SHELF and everything has been done for the care and safety of the important HORSES. I just had a look on the Net at his property and it is well worth viewing the magnificent property.

RACING
REPRISAL
Ran a good 4th last week and all being in order should run on MELBOURNE CUP DAY in a 2800m race. BACK IT WITH CONFIDENCE. A great THRILL to have a race on the BIG DAY.

AMELIA PARK
KEEPING HIS FEET ON THE GROUND
Peter is now home for a few months so he can pack the suitcase away and relax and enjoy.

His close friend Susan is visiting on the weekend, who has just returned from Scotland after a year away so it will be nice to catch up.

Lea is studying hard, finished School next week and Peter will attend her Graduation Dinner and BE VERY PROUD. Then it is on to the EXAMS - We are all with you Lea.

Jessica is very busy preparing for School sports. Sammi is excited at having her close friend Lou Lou coming over from Hamilton Island for a great holiday together - LOOK OUT BUSSELTON.

Good Friend David Rodwell has landed for a week so Peter will catch up next week for Dinner as it has been a while since seeing him.

BUSY DAY FRIDAY ON THE FARM
All hands on deck as Brett and the boys will be unpacking and siting alot of the Furniture that arrived last week. Looking forward to seeing Pete's picks.

All is good at the Farm and looking wonderful so ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND and look forward to next week.

THE AVIARY HOUSES NEW COUPLE

PLUM HEAD PARROTS

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks News.

RACING

REPRISAL

RANDWICK SATURDAY 15TH

David Hayes and Peter are looking forward to this Top Race, and hopefully will repeat last weeks fantastic WIN.

HAVE A WAGER

GOOD LUCK!

CHIRON & TULLIUS

Everyone was disappointed with their races, maybe a another couple of tries and then look at early retirement. Seem to be lacking spirit turning towards home. Lets see what happens next!

OFF TO SYDNEY/MELBOURNE

Peter flies out today with Brian Bradley & John Ciprian and will enjoy a week of HORSES. First off to Coolmoore and Arrowfield to look at all the Foals ( hopefully the camera is working). Will finish off in Melbourne at Hayes's New Complex.

We look forward to Peters stories and photos.

AMELIA PARK

FIRST ONE HAS ARRIVED

The First CONTAINER arrived on Friday packed with FURNITURE FOR THE NEW HOME. Glenn commented that whilst helping to unload there are lots of excellent pieces so I cant wait to go exploring.

Peter gave thanks to Brett for waiting until 8pm that night for the next one to arrive. WAIT - THERES MORE!

THE AVIARY

Glenn was very excited with the arrival of a pair of PLUM HEAD PARROTS who very quickly made themselves at home. The cocks colouring is exquisite - like the colours were painted on. Their Breeding box come with them and the hen made a beeline for it when installed.

All the Birds are very busy inspecting and remodelling their Boxes for what Glenn hopes will be a rewarding Breeding Season.

SYNDICATE HORSES

Peter and Dion inspected all the Syndicate Horses at the Farm and Peter commented that they are all looking magnificent. A huge thanks goes to Wanga as he handles them each morning when feeding up. Its evident how much time he spends educating them with human contact.

Peter was very taken with Royale Harvest/Good Journey and predicts a winner as a 3 year old. I have diarised his pick!

PHIL MATERA BAGGED 4

THE LEGENDS FOOTBALL MATCH

Peter said Phil was on the phone bragging with his winning performance, Peter assured Phil that if he was playing Phil wouldn't have got a touch!!!!

It was a great match and fabulous to watch our OLD STARS including Phil, brother Peter, Woosha, Kempy, Heady to name a few. I have to say most of them still look like they could put on an Eagles Jumper. What a STAR (like his Dad)young Mainwaring is and hopefully will see him in the coming years WEARING NO. 3.

It is a PERFECT SPRING DAY so I hope it is everywhere. Enjoy and see you next week.

regards

WERE YOU ON IT

Hello everyone and welcome to OCTOBER, it is scary how fast it goes!

REPRISAL - FIRST
SYDNEY 3/10
WERE YOU ON IT!! What a great run, it paid $24.70.
Peter's words last week - 'BE ON IT' - are ringing in my ears. I hope you were and enjoyed the win.
Peter and Rob Wiley had just landed into Perth and just made it to watch the race, THAT CERTAINLY CAPPED OFF PETERS MELBOURNE BREAK. Rob was chuffed as he put his last few dollars on the WINNER.

GRAND FINAL
Peter had a fantastic 4 days in Melbourne with Rob and Phil Matera. He said the atmosphere and the huge crowd at the Football is something to experience. The place was alive and thumping in the streets post game, even if they weren't your teams you can't help but go with the flow.
They also dined at some fantastic Restaurants and Flemington Races on Sunday was a great day.

THERE IS CERTAINLY SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT MELBOURNE!!!

RACING

BELMONT WED 4/10
TULLIUS - RACE 2 - 1200m
CHIRON - RACE 8 - 1400m
Peter is looking forward to seeing how both the horses go in their distance races, might need a few under their belts.

AMELIAS DANCER is home and looking exceptional, feeding on the long grasses the paddocks have to offer. Should return to the track early-mid November.

AMELIA PARK WINES
Peter had Russia to visit on his Calendar for October but received great news whilst in Melbourne that a friend that was already in Russia helping to set up meetings for his visit, advised Peter that Russia had just signed up for a large Order.
HAVING CHINA AND NOW RUSSIA AS HIS BIGGEST CLIENTS - WHAT NEXT!!

He will now travel over to Russia probably in February. A lot of interest is also being shown from Belgium and Sweden.

COOLMORE AND MELBOURNE TRIP
NEXT WEEK
Peter will spend time at Coolmore to look at all the new Foals, he says its great to see them young and wonder what the coming years will bring for them.
He has also been invited by David Hayes to visit his New Training Complex in Melbourne which Peter looks forward to.

SHOWTIME
Annie and the girls had a great few days in Perth visiting the Zoo and the Royal Show. I lost count on the number of Show Bags I saw in the boot and wonder if they still do the Mills and Wares biscuit case - I think not!!!

AMELIA PARK IS LOOKING FABULOUS, THE BEAUTIFUL WILLOWS ARE IN NEW FOLIAGE AND THE PADDOCKS ARE LUSH.

Everyone have a great week and look forward to reporting to you next week.
