AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS
What a perfect day weather wise to enjoy the day. Peter hopes everyone had a great time of celebration.
RIO MOONLIGHT
BUNBURY
Disappointing run by Rio, everyone thought it would have gone better, the distance obviously didn't suit. Rio will go back to 1400m and hopefully with a good barrier draw will put forward a better showing. Jason remarked that with this horse the race has to be just right for him.
We will keep trying.
REPRISAL
Will be in a 1600m 1st back and mainly out just for the run to get back into it for its campaign.
COMING UP
In the next couple of weeks will see a few horses coming thru for Saturday races and we are all looking forward to that.
WEDDING AT THE FARM
Not usual practice but Peter is allowing a Wedding to be held on Saturday. Kylie (Samantha's long time friend) and has been like a step daughter to Peter, is thrilled to be able to celebrate her Wedding at Amelia Park. We are looking forward to seeing the Ceremony, the setting is breathtaking.
BALI
Peter is off next week to Bali and he hopes on his return that THE WORKERS WILL FINISHED and his Castle will be his own. LETS HOPE!!!
Peter finished off his Report by telling me that he was just going for a swim - his INDOOR POOL is absolutely stunning - so I wasn't thrilled to hear that from him!!!

SPENDING SPREE
Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks news of Amelia Park.
SPENDING SPREE BEFORE MELBOURNE
Peter said by the time he touched down in Melbourne he had purchased a Horse.
The Tail of the Cat Colt was passed in at the Sales, asking price $100,000 so Peters contact over there
advised Peter to put in Offer for $40,000 and fortunately it was accepted.
Peter said the Colt looks fantastic and has arrived at Amelia Park. The Shareholders are Peter, Phil Matera, David Law and Bill O'Byrne. PETER IS OFFERING A 10% SHARE AT $4,000 TO HAVE SOME FUN AND HOPEFULLY SEE A STAR IN THE MAKING. You can contact Peter on 0418931946.
MELBOURNE
Peter had a fantastic time, his Host treated him BETTER THAN A KING, taking in the Best Restaurants, Tennis which Peter said was unreal, Sightseeing and the list goes on............ Peter was truly grateful for the outstanding Holiday.
RACING:
MADAME DE AMELIA
Raced at Ascot on the 19th but unfortunately has problems so they are bringing her home for a rest and hopefully sort out whats wrong.

This horse is looking magnificent at the Farm, has taken Front paddock status and its great to watch in action. He has drawn way outside but hopefully that wont stop him coming thru the pack and making a good show.
Peter then went on to tell me that after his regular MORNING SWIM in his magnificent Indoor Pool, The Family sat down to BREAKFAST ON THE LAKE. WHAT A WAY TO START THE DAY!!!!!!!!
NEW GUEST ARRIVAL
Peter is looking forward to greeting Sharon King this weekend and having her as a guest. We all look forward to sharing some bubbles with her.
COMING TO THE END
Brett is working overtime to finalise the landscaping at the House. It is looking unbelievable with what he has achieved and Peter is certainly more than pleased.
All other work is also nearing completion, it won't be the same not having work vehicles arriving early am each day for the past few years!!!!!! Im sure we will get used to it.

ANYONE FOR TENNIS
Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks News from Amelia Park
MELBOURNE
Peter is currently in Melbourne, being invited by one of his Clients to enjoy 4 days of Tennis. He has already bragged about firstly - being there - and then onto beautiful Restaurants etc.
All I can say is - ENJOY!!
RIO MOONLIGHT
PETER GIVES 100% CREDIT TO DION AND OWEN. They have done a magnificent job and turned this horse around and it made a great showing in its last race. They think it won't be far away for a WIN. WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO THAT.
MADAME DE AMELIA
Should get a start this Saturday with hopefully a good draw, reports say it should be hard to beat.
INSPECTION
Peter spent considerable time at the Stables on the weekend and went through all the horses. He is extremely happy with the Staff, he commented all the horses are looking in fantastic shape and he truly believes - THIS IS THE YEAR -
GUEST HOUSE
There has been a number of guests come and go over the Festive Season, with the last departed on the weekend. Peter said Sharon will make a trip down shortly so it will be great to catch up with her, she doesn't get the chance very often.

JUST MISSED BY A WHISKER
Hello and welcome everyone to AMELIA PARK NEWSLETTER FOR 2013.
I am hoping to post lots of WINNERS THIS YEAR.
RIO MOONLIGHT
SYNDICATE HORSE
What a close finish, sadly it was second but everyone was pleased with the race, it must be good when your told the fingernails got a work out.
The Syndicate Members and Peter are very much looking forward to more of these races this year but of course FIRST across the line.
AMELIA PARK RACING IN 2013
Peter is still VERY CONFIDENT that this year will bring some great Racing Results.
His Staff are in Top Form and therefore the Horses are in TOP FORM. There is plenty of action on and off the Track early each morning at Amelia Park.
BIRTHDAY DINNER - A MAGIC NIGHT
Peter had Family and Friends to THE NEW HOME to help him celebrate. The night was perfect for outside Dining with top shelf Wines, Spirits and Champagne.
I for one am SPEECHLESS. The Home is MAGNIFICENT with Peter's wonderful private selection of Artwork, Antiques, Fine Furniture and period pieces, it was certainly an experience.
I know for a fact that there were ALOT of sore heads the next day. Peter always ENTERTAINS IN A SPECIAL WAY!!!
I look forward to next weeks Report on RACING CAMPAIGNS AHEAD.
