THE BUSIEST WEEK

Hello and wlecome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.

$1 BILLION DEAL WITH CHINA

V & V WALSH

Peter and Greg certainly had a busy week with the Government, Television, Journalists etc. on the exciting NEW VENTURE with China.  What a fantastic coup for V & V Walsh, the Farmers in Western Australia, China and Mongolia.  A lot of hard work over the years has paid off for all concerned.
Peter is thrilled to be working closely with his close friend Mr Chen and will fly over on the weekend to have meetings and also travel to Mongolia to begin the process of the Venture.  I was impressed with the interviews and the write ups in the Newspapers, very well executed.  I know the Walsh Family are very proud of them both.

RACING:
ROYAL RANDWICK SATURDAY 21ST
ABBASSO
RACE 4
Peter is really looking forward to this race and hopefully Abbasso will do him proud.

CHINA EXPO
Peter said he was more than pleased with the results from the Wine Expo.  Annie is over there and set up the Amelia Park Stand and from all reports it went far better than expected.  A Bonus coming your way Annie.

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS

A busy week at Amelia Park with the BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS FOR BRETT AND WANGA, we do believe they both enjoyed turning another year older.

NO STORM DAMAGE
Luckily Amelia Park suffered only fallen branches and a mess to clean up, but did receive lovely downpours which means THE CREEK HAS STARTED RUNNING,  I am happy now.

Glenn and I managed to catch up with Peter and Leah for a meal last night which was a great night.  Its very hard to track him down, even living at the same place.

Enjoy your week everyone and look forward to reporting next week.

NOT IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.

RESULTS:

ABBASSO
RANDWICK 7/6
5TH  -  Not Abbasso's day, David may give the horse another run this week depending on conditions all round.

CANDOUR
BELMONT - 4TH
Lou and Peter both disappointed.  They thought Candour would have made it to the line.

Peter is very busy with the Chinese Business at the Abbs this week and then home on Thursday.
Annie will fly on to China for the EXPO which she will set up and assist in the Wine Category.  Annie will stay on and Peter will fly over in a week of 2 for more Business.

The new house is really on the move, we can see Abbas inspecting the works each day.  Also the Office and Stable kitchen have begun works.

Peter said he may give the Box another go this week and hopefully the Eagles will put on a good display.
 We are all hopeful!!!!!

Everything else is running smoothly at the Farm, I must say the mornings are getting a bit frisky and the weeds are having a ball.    Most of the trees have shed their coats and just the odd million leaves to clean up.

Enjoy your week everyone.

DELETE 13 N O W 14 WINNERS

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.

S O N G B U R G

FIRST

BELMONT 31/5

ANOTHER WIN, FANTASTIC FOR PETER AND OTHER OWNERS WHO ARE JUST CHUFFED WITH SONGBURGS PERFORMANCE.

THIS WEEKS RACING:

BELMONT WEDNESDAY 4TH
CANDOUR
RACE 5

Lou reported that Candour has improved so hopefully should be in with a big chance.

ABBASSO
Depending on the Draw, maybe a run on Saturday.

REST WEEK  -  NO VISITORS
Peter said he will get to recoup before the coming Weekend.

SATURDAY PETER WILL ENJOY HOSTING HIS FEW MATES FROM THE OLD DAYS OF HALE SCHOOL, SO I WOULD IMAGINE THAT WILL BE A "BIG NIGHT" WITH PETER'S HOSTING SKILLS.

ON SUNDAY PETER'S CHINESE PARTNER AND BUSINESS ASSOCIATES ARRIVE AND THEY WILLK SPEND NEXT WEEK AT THE ABBS WITH PETER.

WATCH THE NEWSPAPER NEXT WEEK  -   THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE ANNOUNCING AN EXCITING NEW VENTURE WHICH WALSH'S ARE INVOLVED IN!!!!!

DISAPPOINTED
Peter made the trip to Perth on Sunday to watch the Eagles - WHAT A WASTE OF TRAVEL TIME, still he did get to catch up and actually spend time in the Box (its usually everyone else using it as he is away most of the time when they are playing at home)!!

LEA'S BIRTHDAY DINNER CELEBRATION
It was a fantastic night at Newtown House, the food was amazing thanks to Steve and Pete enjoyed having his Family altogether.  Costa stole the show with his antics.
Can't believe Lea has turned 20, she has grown into a georgous young Lady of which Peter is very proud.

Enjoy your week everyone.
