SATURDAY RACING

BELMONT

SONGBURG  -  RACE 6
Peter said this should be CLOSE,    TOP weight at 60.5kg, he is really looking forward to this race.

AMELIAS DANCER  -  RACE 7
GOOD CHANCE - 1st Run, may have a sneaky $ on this one.


PETROLOGY
David Hayes reported to Peter that Petrology is flying along at the moment and setting his sights still on the Vic Derby.




A BIG WEEK  -              THE OFFICIAL SIGNING

      V & V WALSH & $BILLION DEAL

On Friday Peter will greet his close friend and partner - Mr Chen and 6 Consulates arriving from China for 5 days.

MONDAY IS THE IMPORTANT DAY THAT THE SIGNING IS FINALISED.

IT IS TO BE HELD AT AMELIA PARK AND IN ATTENDANCE WILL BE MR CHEN, THE CHINESE CONSULATES, OUR MINISTER AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, 2 TELEVISION STATIONS, FAMILY AND SOME CLOSE FRIENDS.   

THIS IS A VERY EXCITING TIME FOR PETER AND GREG, IT HAS TAKEN  YEARS OF HARD WORK BY BOTH OF THEM FOR WHICH THEY SHOULD BE VERY PROUD.



      
AMELIA PARK IS LOOKING MAGNIFICENT IN READINESS FOR THIS IMPORTANT EVENT.

EVERYONE AT THE FARM ARE VERY EXCITED FOR PETER AND WISH HIM ALL THE BEST FOR THE OCCASION.

LOTS OF RACING AHEAD

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.



HOME SAFELY

Peter returned home from London and Paris and straight back into it.

He enjoyed his relaxing time with the girls showing them all the sights but he is full of beans now he's home and says there is lots happening.

RACING:

EUROSUN
Unfortunately injured himself during his fantastic WIN.  Simon is sending him home straight away for recuperation and hopefully will return in about 4 weeks.

PETROLOGY
David Hayes is very happy with the work Petrology is undertaking, should be running in about 4 weeks and then aim for the Victorian Derby.

ABBASSO
Is spelling at the moment, well deserved after a great campaign, couldn't ask for any more from him.

SONGBURG
Justin reports Songburg is going well and not to long for a return.

HUE & CRY also should be back soon

LOTS TO LOOK FORWARD TO COMING UP IN THE NEXT MONTHS, AND HOPEFULLY ADD TO THE ALREADY 16 WINS SINCE JANUARY!!


THE NEW WINERY AND NEWTOWN HOUSE  

Both are coming together nicely.  Meetings this weekend at the Winery with Jeremy and the Architects just about finished with the drawings on Newtown House.  Great ideas coming thru from Sammi and Peter is very pleased with her work on it.


Peters last words   "GREAT TO BE HOME",  "WE ARE IN THE BEST PART OF THE WORLD".
HOW TRUE!!!

A BIG WIN TO EUROSUN

SPECIAL NOTICE

My sincere apologies everyone.

EUROSUN RAN YESTERDAY AT BELMONT AND BLITZED THE FIELD, WHAT A RUN, SLOW OUT THE GATE, THEN RAN WIDE AND THEN GOT TO THE FRONT AND STAYED THERE ALL THE WAY, MILES AHEAD OF THE REST OF THE FIELD.

MORNING MIST

FROM LONDON TO PARIS

Sounds like Peter, Annie, Leah and Jess are having the most wonderful Holiday.
The girls must be in heaven visiting all the wonderous places, let alone the SHOPPING.

They will be sad to be coming home later this week  -  BACK TO REALITY!!!



It has been a quiet week on the Horse front, so sorry but nothing to report until Peter returns.

Amelia Park Farm is busy as always, horses coming and going, babies learning the ropes from the oldies.

Gladly no more bad Storms but lots of lovely rain.

FANTASTIC WIN TO ABBASSO

GREAT COMING HOME WIN

F I R S T 

ABBASSO AGAIN RAN A GREAT RACE, PETER AND THE OWNERS ARE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED WITH ABBASSO'S PERFORMANCE, BEING 3KG OVER THEY WEREN'T OVER CONFIDENT BUT WHAT A SHOWING.      3 FOR THIS CAMPAIGN 

CANDOUR
Has shown promise, will come home for a good Spell for a few months and will have to come back as a Winner!!!

TONTO   &    HUE & CRY
Both now back in work so Peter is looking forward to their campaigns.

EUROSUN
Is currently Training well, didn't Trial so good but Simon said not to worry he feels Eurosun will be OK.

SONGBURG is now with Justin Warrick and is confident.

SOME EXCITING RACING COMING UP.
 

HOME AND AWAY

Peter returned back from China and Mongolia on Monday.  A short burst back at work and then UP AND AWAY TO LONDON AND PARIS.  Holiday Time with Annie, Leah and Jesse, so again its him against the girls!!!  I hope Pete has organised extra Luggage for the girls, can you imagine the SHOPPING !!!!

The Wine Expo was a huge success, just as well Annie was there to promote Amelia Park Wines as not a lot of English speaking people were there.  I think Annie was horse by the end of it, big event for her.   

8 BABIES RETURN HOME

A paddock full of 8 have just returned from the Breakers.  They have a great time during the day, its fun to watch - one starts then they all follow galloping at full speed and just pull up at the fence in time, turn around and off again - it certainly puts a smile on your face.
NAMING OF THE BABIES.  Peter said if anyone has some names PLEASE SEND THEM IN IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED FOR THE HELP!!! 

WHAT A NIGHT

THE RAIN JUST KEPT COMING ALL NIGHT LONG.  

THE CREEK IS FAST FLOWING, THE DAM AT THE AVIARY IS FULL TO BURSTING AND THE OTHER BIGGER DAMS ARE ON THEIR WAY UP.  GREAT TO SEE.

THE NEW WINERY IS FULL STEAM AHEAD AND LOOKING GREAT.

NEWTOWN HOUSE IS IN THE PLANNING STAGES AND PETER IS VERY EXCITED WITH THE NEW LOOK he is going to create.
