Welcome to this weeks news and events, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.
EUROPA POINT - FIRST AT MOONEE VALLEY
What a great start to the weekend for Peter, Damien rode the perfect race and won comfortably. Peter enjoyed celebrating with his partner Brian Bradley and wife Barbara who were at Amelia Park for the weekend. Peters friends from London Brian & Gloria were also there and Peter said this could set the way for him to fly Brian & Gloria over as each time they have been here Europa Point has won. I think I have replayed the race about 7 times, you never tire of watching a well timed race. Olly was toasted and toasted...... throughout the weekend.
REPRISAL
Peter was pleased overall with the race. It was far to short for Reprisal but came home well which was the main agenda.
PINJARRA SUNDAY
CHINA BAY - SECOND, very happy with this performance.
AMELIAS TIGER - got pushed back but ran a tidy race.
PINJARRA CUP 28TH FEBRUARY - ALMOHAD
This should be a very exciting race, Peter said he doesn't know how much longer Almohad can keep it up but Lou is the best man for the job. Peter is going to take Abbas to the race as Almohad is his favourite horse when home at Amelia Park, and they will do it in style by travelling in Arthur. I'm going to hide in the front with the Driver!!

AMELIA PARK
Peter reported that he thoroughly enjoyed being host to his friends on the weekend. The African Dinner Party went really well where all his guests were treated to a specially prepared Dinner and accompanying Wines together with the perfect weather, as is normal when Peter is entertaining.
Peter said this Saturday Night Concert is looking to be a winner with the weather report and large amount of Members and guests attending and he is looking forward to catching up and seeing everyone enjoying themselves. Don't forget your drinks,chairs,nibbles etc. and maybe a light cardy for the shoulders. SEE YOU ON THE DANCE FLOOR AND ENJOY!
RAY HARRIS - AN OLD MATE
On a sad note Peter was sorry to hear of Rays passing. When Peter went to South Australia in his younger football years to play for North Adelaide, Ray took Peter under his wing and he completed his Butcher Apprenticeship with Ray's teachings and he became a family member whilst there. Ray taught him proper work ethics and alot about life and Peter has always held Ray in very high regard. His condolences go out to his wife Erica and children Dianne and Raina and hopes to catch up with them in the not to distant future.

WHAT A HEART STOPPER
Hi everyone and welcome to the news and happenings at Amelia Park.
BUNBURY AHA CUP - SUNDAY 14/2/2010
HOME BY A WHISKER
CONGRATULATIONS ALMOHAD - What a RACE. You don't often see any of our horses take the lead, WELL DONE LOU on the pre decisions made on how the Fish was to run this race. It was carried out superbly.
Peter gives praise to all staff and especially Lou who came and spent 2 weeks with Almohad preparing him for this race.
THE CUP SITS PROUDLY AT PETER'S TAVERN where we toasted it numerous times throughout the celebrations on Sunday.
Lou will take Almohad back to Perth this week to fully prepare him for the PINJARRA CUP on Sunday 28th February. DON'T MISS IT!
BLACK HABIT - Unfortunately shuffled around during the race so couldn't get a run, this horse is much better than this race showed.
SHIN SORE - COMING HOME
Both the 2 year olds - OUTSPOKEN LADY & AMELIAS DELIGHT will be bought home to rest, being Galileo's they will rally quickly.
EUROPA POINT - MOONEE VALLEY
At last we will see this magnificent horse continue its form, the word is it will be hard to beat!!!!!!
REPRISAL - Just about ready to return, will keep you posted.

FAREWELL AMLESS
We say goodbye and good luck to young Amless who now leaves us and returns home to Mauritius for a short stint and then on to England to gain more experience and hopefully will return to us in the future to carry on in his brother Kevins footsteps, as a top Jockey.
AMELIA PARK WINE DINNER
Peter will be back to what he does best - ENTERTAINING AT HIS AMELIA PARK.
This weekend he will be host to his good friends Brian and Barbara Bradley and Brian & Gloria from London who will be representatives for Amelia Park Wines, and also Jeremy and Danielle where Peter has organised an AFRICAN THEME NIGHT for his Guests. I daresay the Cellar will get a good workout that night. ENJOY!

AHA CUP BUNBURY
Welcome everyone, we hope you all had an enjoyable week and report on the happenings from Amelia Park.
ALMOHAD - AHA CUP
BUNBURY
Lou is currently staying at Amelia Park during the week getting Almohad ready for the Cup. Dion was here and they took the horse to the Bunbury track for a run. Almohad is certainly in fantastic shape and is enjoying his track and beach workouts. This race will be a good lead up to the main Bunbury and Pinjarra Cup races coming soon, by then he will be super fit. Lou is absolutely delighted with the horse preparation and he said Amelia Park is certainly a place the horse is comfortable at.
BLACK HABIT
Peter was very pleased with its first up run to come fourth, no excuses but Jockey Carberry was given 9 days suspension for violation.
AMELIAS REASON
This horse certainly baffles the Trainers. It shows every sign of being in great form but come race day lets everyone down. With the amount of time, effort and money spent todate we will continue to hope the horse shows us some return. Keep up the good work Pricey.
LADY SHERIFA
May have a run but we are waiting on the barrier draw.
IN THE EAST
REPRISAL
Peter has reports that Reprisal is showing very good Training results and will be advised soon of the start date for its next campaign.
EUROPA POINT - GLOWING REPORTS
Nothing more needs to be said. Peter certainly looking forward to the horses next jump.
THE NEXT GENERATION
Outspoken Lady - Seems to have had a good trial, will continue to watch closely.
Amelias Tiger & Amelias Delight not quite ready but they are enjoying trying.
Its great to watch the new ones coming through.
OUR UP AND COMING TOP JOCKEY
KEVIN is continuing on his great performance with some good wins in the country. He has just returned home to Mauritius for a well deserved break.

Peter has just returned and to depart from one great place to arrive at the greatest place - how do you think he is!!!!!!!!!!!
