3RD - GREAT RACE, PETER IS THRILLED WITH THIS HORSE AND SHOULD BE MORE GOOD RESULTS TO COME.

KALGOORLIE CUP

REPRISAL

PULLED UP WELL AFTER THE BROOME CUP AND LOU IS NOW AIMING FOR KALGOORLIE WHICH WILL BE VERY EXCITING FOR PETER.  WILL KEEP YOU WELL INFORMED.

3RD - BLACK IS BACK

OWEN TRAINED BLACKY AND HAD A GOOD RUN AT LARK HILL.  LOOK FORWARD TO HIS CAMPAIGN, GOOD LUCK OWEN.

PETER, WANGA AND NOEL WELCOME A NEW BORN FILLY OUT OF BLACK MAIDEN.  THEY ARE HOPING FOR A WINNER WITH THIS FILLY.

BALI

ANNIE, VICKI AND MAMMA HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME AND RUBBING IT IN BY SENDING PETER ALL THEIR PICTURES SWIMMING IN THE POOL AND SHOWING THE BEAUTIFUL WEATHER OVER THERE, I THINK PETER TOLD ANNIE IT WAS TIME TO COME HOME AND SHARE THE WET WEATHER.

PETER IS THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE THAT HE HAS PURCHASED THE WINERY FROM MOSS BROS.  ONE OF THE OLD NAMES IN MARGARET RIVER .  THEY WILL TAKE OVER IN FEBRUARY AND THE LAND IS IN EXCELLENT LOCATION ON CAVES ROAD.  THE NEW NAME - OF COURSE - WILL BE       " AMELIA PARK WINERY " AND PETER WILL BUILD NEW BUILDINGS AS WELL AS CELLAR DOOR TASTINGS AND IT WILL HAVE A FAMILY INVOLVEMENT WHICH WILL CERTAINLY BE A WINNING COMBINATION.

BUSY WEEK FOR PETER HOSTING FRIENDS

IT WILL START FROM TONIGHT WHERE HIS GOOD FRIENDS DAVID & JEAN LAW WILL COME FOR DRINKS AND THEIR WHOLE CONVERSATION REVOLVES AROUND HORSES AND THEIR INVOLVEMENT, WHICH OF COURSE PETER THOROUGHLY ENJOYS.

AT THE END OF THE WEEK FRIENDS FROM CHINA ARRIVE AND IT WILL 4 DAYS OF BUSY ENTERTAINING WHICH PETE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO.

AMELIA PARK
Peter had an enjoyable weekend with Susan and Eileen spending the weekend.  Susan thoroughly enjoyed her Birthday Present from Peter with a day of Pampering at the Day Spa.
Peter then hosted a beautiful Dinner Party on Saturday Night.
Unfortunately he did receive an UNINVITED GUEST TOWARDS MIDNIGHT.

I couldn't resist after arriving home from a Party - PETERS HOUSE LIGHTS WERE ON - you CAN TRULY SEE THEM FROM AFAR - BIT LIKE A LIT UP CITY.  I went and gate crashed - I cant believe I did that - TOTALLY EMBARRASSED. 
PETER HAS A NEW NAME FOR ME  -   "THE MOTH"  Hangs around anywhere there is a light on.
Oops - sorry Peter but he did take it in in usual fun way.


RACING RADIO
Shortty and Wes caught up with Peter this morning on the radio.  It is quite amusing listening to Peter but also very interesting.  You can certainly tell he has a varied and busy life with not only the HORSES but also V & V WALSH AND NOT TO MENTION HIS SUCCESS WITH AMELIA PARK WINES.

Primed now for Kalgoorlie.Dion has worked hard and hopefully turned the Horse around for some good results to come  -  ITS GOT TO BE BETTER.

All the signs are very encouraging.

Won its trial on Tuesday, Chris Waller and Peter have big hopes for this horse.

NEW FILLY ON THE BLOCK - VERY EXCITING - GOOD BREEDING

TESTA ROSSA will have last chance and then the pencil will be sharpened to put a line through a few of the under performers and BRING IN THE NEW FRESH ONES.

MORE EQUIPMENT FOR THE HORSES

They will be more than happy with the installation of the new Water Treadmill in the next couple of weeks.

GIRLS IN BALI

Annie, Vicki & Mum are spending a relaxing 10 days in the Sun.  Peter said Annie has pulled a swifty, she is away and he is home with Jessica and Rascal.  ENJOY

Peter together with Chris Waller have two horses that will be running in the next couple of weeks.  Peter is very much looking forward to their campaigns.

Peter is looking forward to catching up with great friend Susan who will be spending the weekend at the Farm.  Peter gave Susan the weekend of pampering at the Day Spa for her 50th so not doubt the champers and whiskey will be flowing.  ENJOY SUSAN!!

NEARLY A HOT DOG

Jessica's pooch Rascal had a near miss accident when his paw got caught in a rabbit trap.  Luckily he pulled through ok.

Peter did say its a shame that he wasn't taken as a rabbit and knocked on the head and made into a Hot Dog - THEY ARE THE ONLY DOGS HE LIKES!!!!!!

He is a big softie really!!!

STABLES

Owen and Christy are working their tails off as Wanga and Elise are both away.  Abbas has also come on board doing extra days so its a real TEAM EFFORT.

The creek has subsided somewhat from last weeks flood but still gushing through, the birdlife are in their glory at the Farm.

FAST AND FURIOUS

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.

We are usually sitting on this seat with the creek further away.

Nearly overflowed, haven't seen it like this for years.


HOME FROM CHINA
HOME TO SETTLE BACK ON THE FARM FOR A WHILE

Peter said the Business Trip was very successful and as well most enjoyable spending quality time with his best Chinese friend - Mr Chen.  A lot of time was spent with him in Harbin.


REPRISAL
LAST RACE WAS A 3RD, now in work being prepared for the upcoming Broome Cup

HUE AND CRY - 4TH
First up Race and everyone was pleased with the run.

Begins work and preparation towards Kalgoorlie campaign.


SHOPPING SHOPPING
Annie left today for Perth today to shop for the unit Peter has purchased which she is looking forward to.

JAMES HALLIDAY AWARDS
Peter was thrilled that the Highest Category was given to 5 of Amelia Park Reds.  Congratulations to Jeremy for his wonderful efforts.


Peter is very much looking forward to wind down and enjoy THE FARM IN WINTER.
