STILL RAINLESS

Hello Everyone and welcome to this weeks short report.

As you know Peter is still in China and wasn't able to make contact for his report.
He apologises and will make up for it next week.

Still quiet on the track but going by the Stables being crowded and the staff working overtime it wont be long now for some of them to be leaving and being prepared in Perth for a showing.
We can't wait to see them on the track as they are fantastic to watch going thru their paces at Amelia Park.

The Morning tea chatter at the Stables is everybody organising their annual holidays, going to Bali, Phuket, Melbourne to name a few - I think the wages Peter is paying MUST BE GOOD.

Everything is fine here at the farm, lots of spraying being done OF THE UNWANTED WEEDS while the sun is still shining and getting all those jobs out the way before THE RAIN APPEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE BIG HOUSE
Yet another roof has just been finished and it is all looking awesome. I can't wait for Peter to give me the run down on the Designs he has chosen for all the Interiors of the House.
I still think I could have helped if he had taken me to China with him!!!

A GREAT BIG HUGS & KISSES TO DENISE HENCHE
From reports received from the Family, Denise arrives home today with all good news. We are so happy for her and wish her a SPEEDY RECOVERY. I hope she has a bell next to her bed so NURSE NEIL CAN TEND HER EVERY WHIM.

ANOTHER BABY ON THE WAY FOR RYAN & JEMMA HENCHE
We all send our best wishes on his safe arrival in a week or so and isn't that just the best medicine for Denise.

Enjoy your week and look forward to Peter's Report next week.

THE EVANS CLAN CLEAN UP

GREETINGS EVERYONE and welcome to another beautiful sunny day here in the South West.

V & V WALSH RACE DAY & JACKSONS RESTAURANT

The Weekend started for Peter on Friday where he Hosted 75 Guests of Management and Family members to an unbelievable Feast of Tastes prepared by Neil Jackson. My order to Peter was to bed by midnight BUT THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

SATURDAY WAS RACE DAY

What another fantastic day was had. The weather was perfect, the venue was perfect and THE SERVICE AND MEAL WERE OUTSTANDING.

Peter sends his warm thanks to the TURF CLUB for again looking after their 120 Guests IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER . IT WAS A TOP DAY.

All the Ladies looked very glamorous and I have to say the Men looked very handsome in their Suits.

We were pleased to see SOME of the Guests OTHER THAN THE EVANS CLAN collected Prizes throughout the day but the FINAL DRAW FOR A DREAM HOLIDAY TO BALI staying at Tanah Lot with your own Chef, Driver and Massages each day was WON BY WANGA EVANS. The crowd shouted for a re-draw but Peter held fast and declared Wanga the Winner.

I have told Wanga that I am available at a date that suits him!!

OUR THANKS AGAIN TO PETER & GREG FOR THIS MAGNIFICENT ANNUAL EVENT.

RACING

OUTSPOKEN LADY

WEDNESDAY AT PINJARRA

Will be watched closely in its 1st up run and hopefully will give its best.

AMELIAS DANCER & AMELIAS TIGER

Ready to return to the track in about 3-4 weeks. Peter is looking forward to their campaigns and is confident they will succeed.

CHINA

Peter and Annie leave for China on Thursday. Peter is also taking his Interior Designer to help in the choosing of Furniture and Fittings for the BIG HOME. I would certainly love to be there looking at all the beautiful Showrooms but Peter obviously missed my hinting at him ALL WEEKEND - do you think!!!

AMELIA PARK - DAY SPA

Peggy & Ivan have been inundated with work these last weeks. The Ladies, and quite a few men, have been returning for Massages and the works, and the word is spreading on how good Penny and Ivan are at their profession. I hear the new Lotions and Products are dreamy so will be making my booking when there is a spot available. MAKE YOUR BOOKING AND ENJOY!!!

OH THOSE AUTUMN LEAVES

The various tree types all over the Farm are looking resplendent as they go thru their seasonal cycle, it is a beautiful time of the year here BUT WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE CREEK TO FILL!

WARM & BEST WISHES

Everyone here send our beautiful warm wishes and LOVE to Peters Sister Denise who will be having an operation tomorrow. We hope it will be a speedy recovery for her.

Thats a wrap for this week and I look forward to sharing happenings from here to you next week .

What a great Win for Ron Beacham, Double Barrel did Training at Amelia Park and has just arrived back and I am sure the stable staff will be giving this winner great treatment.

EASTER GREETINGS

Hi everyone and welcome to this weeks report.

ITS THE EASTER BREAK AGAIN, CAN'T BELIEVE I AM SAYING THIS, BUT DOESN'T THE YEAR GO QUICKLY.

AMELIA PARK
Peter is staying put this Holiday Period but very busy entertaining, Friends coming from right left and centre every day. I think Peter will need a holiday after the Holiday. Mind you he is a good stayer.

REPRISAL
Peter is re-assessing its future in Melbourne. Unfortunately Reprisal started like a train but has gone by the wayside so a decision will have to be made.

V & V WALSH RACE DAY
SATURDAY 30TH

All the Frocks and Suits are being aired for this Annual Event. It is the most fantastic day where we get spoilt with silver service and entertainment all day.
Peter will definitely have to find some way of stopping WANGA AND THE EVANS CLAN from collecting all the PRIZES. Its amazing how every year they have the MAJORITY OF COLLECTS. We all certainly give them a hard time.

AMELIA PARK SYNDICATE III
Peter is very happy with the start of this Syndicate. All the horses purchased have now been broken in and will return to Amelia Park to start their future of Racing and hopefully give the Syndicate Members some fun and excitement on their Race Days.

PETER SENDS ALL EASTER GREETINGS TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND HOPE YOU HAVE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE LONG EASTER BREAK.

I also send Easter Greetings to everyone. See you here next week.

SINGAPORE/PHILLIPINES

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks report.

OFF AGAIN
Peter left for Singapore and the Phillipines yesterday on a work related venture for recruitment and will return on Saturday.

GREAT FRIENDS VISIT AMELIA PARK
Peter is looking forward to returning to entertain Brian and Barb Bradley together with Brian and Gloria from the UK who will both be spending the weekend at the farm.
Brian & Gloria promote and sell Amelia Park Wines in the UK and apparently they are doing exceptionally well so Peter is looking forward to sharing some wines and a long chat.

RACING NEWS
ASCOT WEDNESDAY
CHIRON

This horse is well placed so looking for a solid run today.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA
New kid on the block - NEW LIGHT
The horse will have a start this week but maybe a bit short as looks to be a distance runner. Good luck.

FULL STABLES AT BURSTING POINT
Peter enjoys seeing the full stables knowing that alot of the horses will soon be ready for the track. A full season will be upon us soon so lots of travelling coming up.

BIRTHDAYS
Glenn certainly enjoyed his get together last Saturday at the farm and it was great to see Peter & Annie able to come. Lots of music and dancing - a great night was had.

ABBAS CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK AND WE ALL SEND OUR VERY BEST TO HIM, looking forward to a meal at the new Indian Restaurant that has opened up in town. It is a great feast as Abbas does the ordering and caters for all our tastes.

V & V WALSH DAY AT ASCOT
The Annual big day is approaching at the end of April so all the ladies will be busy shopping for the latest in fashion for trackside.

We have had some lovely rain at the farm and you can already see the paddocks turning a tinge of green, it doesn't take long does it!!

Thats all to report for this week so ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND and see you here same time next week.
