HOME AT LAST FOR A DECENT STAY

Peter is pleased he can stay home (at this stage) for a few weeks to catch up.  He looks forward to some quality time at the Farm.


PETROLOGY
Peter was still very pleased with this run.  QUALITY FIELD so Petrology still performed well.



Sorry folks but my Computer is having problems so I will have to close and report as soon as up and running again.

WE HAD IT ALL

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.


STORM, LIGHTNING, THUNDER,TREES DOWN

That was certainly unexpected.  Lost some huge trees on the farm which is sad.  Luckily where they fell they did not cause any damage.  JUST THE BIG CLEAN UP NOW.



RACING RESULTS:

Although not at the Winning Finish line Peter and Trainers were all happy with the runs, few hold ups etc so all in all they were reasonable at the end.

This horse is ready to fire, Peter really looking forward to this campaign.




Peter is currently in Mongolia and will return on Saturday, ready for the Races and THE EAGLES.

HE WILL THEN SPEND 5 WEEKS (HE HOPES) AT THE FARM AFTER A VERY BUSY COUPLE OF MONTHS.



Just heard the Weather Report and I think its coming again tonight - hope not as bad!!!!

PETER ARRIVED HOME FROM MELBOURNE LAST NIGHT, HAD A VERY GOOD BUSINESS TRIP AND IS OFF AGAIN ON SUNDAY TO MONGOLIA FOR THE WEEK.

GO EAGLES
HE ACTUALLY GOT TO A GAME AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE GOOD STANDARD OF PLAY  'FOR A CHANGE' .   HE LIKED THAT THEY HAD DIRECTION AND HOPES THAT IT CONTINUES.

AMELIA PARK
OWEN HAS JUST RETURNED FROM HOLIDAYS AND NOW WANGA IS AWAY IN BROOME FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS RECREATION, MASON IS IN NEW ZEALAND WITH ALOT OF THE WALSH CLAN, CELEBRATING PETERS NEPHEWS BIRTHDAY.

PETER WAS PLEASED TO SEE HIS GOOD FRIEND JENNIFER ARRIVE SAFELY FROM SOUTH AFRICA.
SHE REALLY ENJOYED HER FIRST GAME OF FOOTBALL PETER SAID.
SHE HAS GONE OFF TO BALI AND WILL RETURN IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO STAY FOR A TIME.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO CATCHING UP WITH HER.

CHINA DEAL SIGNED AND SEALED WITH GRAND FARM

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.



SIGNING COMPLETE WITH MR CHEN

WHAT AN EXTREMELY EXCITING AND MOVING OCCASION.

Peter offered his HOME for the SPECIAL AGREEMENT FINALISATION and they are so excited with this BREAKTHROUGH DEAL with his LONG TIME FRIEND AND PARTNER - MR CHEN.

The afternoon and evening was a huge success with the Minister Ken Baston, Department of Agriculture Heads, Chines Consulate Members, Television, Newspapers, Family and chosen friends in attendance.

Peter also gives his warm thanks and gratitude to LINDA - HEAD OF THEIR BEIJING OFFICE, FOR ASSISTING IN THIS $1BILLION DEAL.

Peter also gives a warm thankyou to ANNIE who played a large part in INTERPRETING between Parties.

They will begin exports to Grand Farm in China from October.

Justin said it was unlucky run last week but with this barrier draw there is no reason why Songburg cant bring it home.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

Justin is absolutely thrilled with her performance so far.

PANTS ON FRIAR
Adam Durrant said doing everything right and can't wait to get Pants in the running.


WHAT A WEEK ITS BEEN AND ANOTHER TO FOLLOW

WAROA RACING AWARDS  -  Saturday 2nd August

AMELIA PARK AWARD WENT TO 3 YEAR OLD IHTSAHYMN (ALSO WA RACEHORSE OF THE YEAR).
ADAM DURRANT WON THE CHAMPION  TRAINER AWARD - CONGRATULATIONS.

Peter said it was a Fantiastic Event and gives praise to Macca for an outstanding night that he totally organised - very professional!!

EXCITING NEWS:
Peter said next year AMELIA PARK will be THE OFFICIAL SPONSORS FOR THE KARRAKATTA CUP DAY, THE BIGGEST DAY ON THE CALENDER.


THE WEEK AHEAD

Peter will host another group of Clients from Friday, then onto Perth for the Football and then flies out to Melbourne on Monday for several days.

HE MAKES ME TIRED !!!!!

Peter said this should be CLOSE,    TOP weight at 60.5kg, he is really looking forward to this race.

AMELIAS DANCER  -  RACE 7
GOOD CHANCE - 1st Run, may have a sneaky $ on this one.


PETROLOGY
David Hayes reported to Peter that Petrology is flying along at the moment and setting his sights still on the Vic Derby.




A BIG WEEK  -              THE OFFICIAL SIGNING

      V & V WALSH & $BILLION DEAL

On Friday Peter will greet his close friend and partner - Mr Chen and 6 Consulates arriving from China for 5 days.

MONDAY IS THE IMPORTANT DAY THAT THE SIGNING IS FINALISED.

IT IS TO BE HELD AT AMELIA PARK AND IN ATTENDANCE WILL BE MR CHEN, THE CHINESE CONSULATES, OUR MINISTER AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, 2 TELEVISION STATIONS, FAMILY AND SOME CLOSE FRIENDS.   

THIS IS A VERY EXCITING TIME FOR PETER AND GREG, IT HAS TAKEN  YEARS OF HARD WORK BY BOTH OF THEM FOR WHICH THEY SHOULD BE VERY PROUD.



      
AMELIA PARK IS LOOKING MAGNIFICENT IN READINESS FOR THIS IMPORTANT EVENT.

EVERYONE AT THE FARM ARE VERY EXCITED FOR PETER AND WISH HIM ALL THE BEST FOR THE OCCASION.

LOTS OF RACING AHEAD

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.



HOME SAFELY

Peter returned home from London and Paris and straight back into it.

He enjoyed his relaxing time with the girls showing them all the sights but he is full of beans now he's home and says there is lots happening.

RACING:

EUROSUN
Unfortunately injured himself during his fantastic WIN.  Simon is sending him home straight away for recuperation and hopefully will return in about 4 weeks.

PETROLOGY
David Hayes is very happy with the work Petrology is undertaking, should be running in about 4 weeks and then aim for the Victorian Derby.

ABBASSO
Is spelling at the moment, well deserved after a great campaign, couldn't ask for any more from him.

SONGBURG
Justin reports Songburg is going well and not to long for a return.

HUE & CRY also should be back soon

LOTS TO LOOK FORWARD TO COMING UP IN THE NEXT MONTHS, AND HOPEFULLY ADD TO THE ALREADY 16 WINS SINCE JANUARY!!


THE NEW WINERY AND NEWTOWN HOUSE  

Both are coming together nicely.  Meetings this weekend at the Winery with Jeremy and the Architects just about finished with the drawings on Newtown House.  Great ideas coming thru from Sammi and Peter is very pleased with her work on it.


Peters last words   "GREAT TO BE HOME",  "WE ARE IN THE BEST PART OF THE WORLD".
HOW TRUE!!!

A BIG WIN TO EUROSUN

SPECIAL NOTICE

My sincere apologies everyone.

EUROSUN RAN YESTERDAY AT BELMONT AND BLITZED THE FIELD, WHAT A RUN, SLOW OUT THE GATE, THEN RAN WIDE AND THEN GOT TO THE FRONT AND STAYED THERE ALL THE WAY, MILES AHEAD OF THE REST OF THE FIELD.
