AMELIA PARKS NEW ADDITIONS

Hello everyone and welcome to our weekly news.

BEAUTIFUL ADDITIONS
A COLT from FACE VALUE/GREEK GODDESS was born in the early hours of Saturday morning and a FILLY from FRAAR/BLACK MAIDEN followed closely on Sunday morning.
Both babies and Mothers are doing great. I'm not going to say much about MY CAMERA except I will have photos for next weeks news to share with you. Peter gives thanks to the staff, especially Kristy, for their tireless work during the foaling. We will all enjoy watching their growth and antics and hopefully mature into winners for Peter in the future.

COOLMOORE
Peter thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Coolmoore to see all the foals, very impressed, especially the Filly from Holy Roman Emperor/Lady Sherifa, everyone is excited with the way this Filly is looking and progressing.

MONDAY TRIALS
AT LAST
It will be great to see DIVINE ANNA, AMELIAS LAD, LADY XAAR and ALMOHAD back to the track. Watch out for Amelias Lad, from all reports this horse looks set for a great campaign ahead. Also MASTER SECRET is looking magnificent and hopefully will go the distance.

Also HIFALUTIN is in good form and AMELIAS REASON is in pre-training so we are looking forward to their progress.

All in all it looks like a positive and exciting Spring campaign in the next couple of weeks and it will be great to start reporting on each weeks racing results.

EASTERN STATES
REPRISAL AND EUROPA POINT are also starting their campaigns and Peter is hopeful of good results from them.

SYDNEY -
GOOD STOCK - Marooned Again is the Grandmother to Little Surfer Girl who won a top race on Saturday at Randwick. As they say - "Its all in the breeding".

AMELIA PARK
Lou Luciani spent a couple of days here on the weekend. He enjoys getting away to Amelia Park when he can and was very happy with all the horses in their various stages of work and the staffs handling.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEGAN
It is a busy month for birthdays and we all send Happy Birthday Wishes to Tegan for the 26th. I believe she caught the most fish on her weekend at Walpole, so well done and I am free for a fish dinner any night.

GONE AGAIN
Peter returned home on Thursday and spent a couple of days working on the farm. He flew out to China on Monday for approximately 2 weeks and then HOME to stay for (????), we will see. We also send our best to Annies Mum who has returned to China for a month or so to visit family and friends. It is now up to Annie to look after the chooks and vegetable garden so I will be keeping an eye out so when she is at work I can sneak up there with my basket.

HAIL
We were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful weekend but we have just had a large downpour and hail so back into the woollies for a little longer.

Enjoy your week and Peter will send his report from China for next weeks update.

regards

Shelley
