ANYONE THINKING OF COMING TO AMELIA PARK AFTER A WIN, BE PREPARED - JUST ASK DOUG SMITH.
Doug ventured out to Amelia Park for a quiet visit before ALMOHAD had won the Race.
Needless to say Doug had to spend the night at my place with the TRUSTED PLASTIC BUCKET after spending time at the Cellar with Peter playing host to us, sampling the BEST REDS AND CIGARS. A fantastic night was had and Doug's wife sends Peter Congratulations and sorry she wasn't there to help celebrate. - NEXT TIME!

GREAT WIN TO ALMOHAD
Fantastic Win - As they said, thats how the Perth Cup would have turned out - WHAT IF !! Disappointing it didn't happen that way but Peter is thrilled with the horse and gives a big wrap to the staff at Amelia Park in the lead up to the race and to Lou for his outstanding effort. Almohad will now come home to freshen up again and prepare for his next program leading up to the Bunbury Cup and other suitable races, we will keep you informed.

RETURNING
In the next couple of weeks will have LADY XAAR and BLACK HABIT coming back for hopefully some successful racing results.

ALSO COMING HOME in the next couple of weeks will be a number of Mares and Foals from around Australia so it is exciting watching the babies growing.

ENTERTAINING AT AMELIA PARK
Peter is still entertaining (hasn't stopped actually), this week Rob Wiley and Phil Matera stayed over and Wes Cameron will be here I believe Tuesday/Wednesday. It will be good to catch up with Wes.

CHINA
Peter returns to China next week and will send thru his report from there.

I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve celebrations and hope it is a great year for everyone and the horses too!!!!!
