THE START OF SOMETHING BIG

THE BEAUTIFUL LOCATION OF PETER'S NEW HOME
OPPOSITE THE WORLD CLASS CELLAR

Hello everyone and welcome to another week in PARADISE.

I hope everyone enjoyed their wonderful Easter break, we were lucky that the weather held off for most of the weekend, mind you we do love that drop.
Construction of the new house has started, this will be a long term project that will result in a beautiful, comfortable and entertaining abode. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR UPDATES.
AMELIAS DANCER - 3RD
Very impressive, it was the run of the race. We will have to be patient as there is a lot of learning still to be done but is showing alot of promise for the future.
3 BIG CHANCES THIS COMING WEEK
SYDNEY - EUROPA POINT
Saturday - Peter is looking forward to this race, the knee has come good we are told so here's hoping for a good showing.
ASCOT -
CHINA BAY
By all accounts should be in the winning circle.
BLACK HABIT
Should show a good honest run.
V & V WALSH DAY
The Annual Family/Management Weekend is here again. Friday night is at the world class Jacksons Restaurant where everyone is treated to a feast of delectable food and wine. Saturday they are welcomed to Ascot in the Chairmans Lounge for a wonderful day of racing, food, wine and the odd punt. We can only hope that the EVANS Clan don't reap the day of barrel draw winnings as they have in the last few years.
Peter will be hosting his friend and business associate Mr Chen and Family from China for the weekend which I am sure they will thoroughly enjoy.
I do wish everyone a fantastic weekend, this will be the first year of missing this wonderful weekend as I have a wedding to attend - NOT HAPPY!
AMELIA PARK
Peter had a quiet Easter break and suffered through a bout of flu, I did make him feel better by saying it was best now than the V & V WALSH WEEKEND.
I don't think it made him feel any better at all!!!
Luckily he recovered enough to host David Rodwell and Rita from South Africa, Mal and Sam Dempsey and Wally & Robin to a Dinner Party on Sunday which all went very nicely.
A BIG THANKYOU
Peter sends his appreciation to the staff at the farm for having to work all over the Easter break, its a hard job, BUT THATS THE HORSE INDUSTRY.
We wish everyone a fantastic week and weekend and lets hope the horses put on their best performances for the V & V Walsh Day.
regards
Shelley
