NOT SPRING LAMB - BUT SPRING FOAL

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks news.
A COLT OUT OF SAXON/BLACK MAIDEN
ISN'T HE JUST THE CUTEST
He was born within 15 minutes of Wanga leaving the paddock to pick up Black Maidens feed and to then miss it after sleeping at the Farm the previous night so he would be there. Mind you Wanga is beaming. It is amazing that within half an hour the foal is up and looking for feed. LETS HOPE HE IS A FUTURE WINNER .
RACING
22/9 - AMELIAS TIGER & AMELIAS DANCER
Not in the finish this time, both horses lacked the drive but nevertheless will keep trying.
SPECIAL HARMONY - GREAT BLOOD LINE
Great results at Rosehill for Slater and Little Surfer Girl. Its great to see the line continuing with winners. Peter was thrilled.
AMELIA PARK
Peter spent another busy weekend and week entertaining at the Farm together with business luncheons and dinners. He makes me tired just watching him going thru his paces. He absolutely thrives on it.
BALI Peter is off on Saturday for a bit of R & R with the family. I hope he can rest but with so much happening at the moment I know he will be champing at the bit to get back and get into it.
AMELIA PARK SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS
We also send birthday greetings to Annie who celebrated her birthday this week.
HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TEGAN
Tegan will be celebrating her Birthday in Walpole this weekend and we all send our love and best wishes to her. We will catch up with her on Monday to celebrate.
It has certainly been a month for Female Birthdays at Amelia Park.
We wish everyone a great Long Weekend and whoever may follow St. Kilda or Collingwood - GOOD LUCK!!
regards
Shelley
