Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks report.



GOLD FOR AMELIA PARK WINES

It is with excitement that we report the Amelia Park Cabernet Merlot 2009 has just won TOP GOLD IN ITS CLASS at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show.

Also was 1 of 10 Finalists out of 1,000's of Entries in the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy.

Peter is thrilled with the results and congratulates Jeremy on his third consecutive year in this category, he was a Finalist last year and WON THE TROPHY IN 2008.
I am sure there will be alot of celebrations in Melbourne.

ASCOT - SATURDAY 30/10

ALMOHAD - RACE 7

Peter is looking forward to this race in the hope that Almohad rekindles the winning spirit as in the past. Good riding Jason!!



REPRISAL - SOUTH AUSTRALIA 27/10
Wasn't in the running today.

AMELIAS TIGER - 28/10
Definitely not in the top result, will report on the performance next news letter.

MARSEILLE
Peter reported that this horse should be ready within 10 days, all news from Haysey is positive.

MELBOURNE
Peter has arrived and straight into socialising and catching up with friends, just to name a few - Rob Wiley and Phil Matera, traditional Derby Day Lunch with longtime friend Debbie, invitation from Peter Fogarty for Lunch and to top it off he will be socialising with all the top Horse people including Bart Cummins. Oh how I envy him!!!

THE SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE!
The Promotion of Amelia Park Lamb & Beef is being seen out there. I have had numerous calls and emails from people in Perth and I was in Perth this week and fortunately saw the huge signs as well as the trucks displaying the sign. They are very impressive.

DAY SPA & SAUNA
Peter has advised that within the next couple of weeks there will be 2 new employees at Amelia Park to pamper one and all. We are all busy diarising our bookings.

FAMILY WEDDING - MASON & EMMALYN
It was a perfect sunny day to celebrate Peters nephew Mason's important day. The venue and Luncheon was superb and the Bride & Groom looked stunning and happy. We all wish them happiness in their new life together.

Amelia Park Farm is busy as usual, the stables are overflowing and the riders are flat out with Pre-Training so we look forward to the months ahead.
