REPRISAL TO COME HOME

Welcome everyone to this weeks Amelia Park News.

REPRISAL
Unfortunately did not perform and Haysey and Peter have decided to bring the horse home. It has done a great job in Melbourne with winnings of approx. $230,000 and Peter thanks Haysey for a great job. He will come home to Amelia Park for a spell and then try him with a few races at home to see if he has reached his peak.

SONGBURG
A little disappointing but as Peter says as 2 yr olds they go off quick and then decide to perform. The youngsters are still going thru experience which as we know - COMES WITH AGE!

MARCELLIUS
Hopefully will have a good campaign in Melbourne with no sign at the moment of old injuries. We will cross fingers for the next run in a few weeks.

ALMOHAD
RACING SATURDAY WEEK.
Peter is looking forward to this great horse coming back as it looks like problems have been resolved.

AMELIA PARK
THE WALSH NAME CONTINUES
Brett and Tegan told Peter last night that they are having A BOY, everyone is very excited - I THINK A FOOTBALL will be the 1st present from GRANDAD!

JACKSONS PROMOTION LUCHEON
Same Place, same time, same seat. Peter is hosting the 4th year of Managers Luncheon which he joked and said everyone wanted the same seats as previous years. This Luncheon is set to continue for some years!!!!!

OWEN TO STAY AT AMELIA PARK
Peter is chuffed that what started out as only a lend from Lou has turned into Owen - a country boy - now a permanent at Amelia Park. He has been welcomed with open arms and has fitted in with the rest of the staff very easily.

HOORAY - EXAMS ARE OVER
Leah finished her last Exam today. Peter has been told that she is now an ADULT AND FREE, now the worrying starts. He will have to keep her tied to the Farm if he doesn't want to be chasing her around the town - his words!! GO LEAH!!!!!!!

HOLIDAY AT AMELIA PARK
Peter has some friends arriving from Kuala Lumpur - Sharon and her daughter Page for approximately 10 days and we all look forward to meeting them and sharing the Farm.

Everything is great at the Farm, the Foals are a hoot to watch, when the Mares are being moved from paddocks, they just run and follow behind VERY CLOSELY. It is a joy to see.

Enjoy your weekend of Racing everyone and look forward to next weeks Report to you.

regards

Shelley
