CANT STAY HOME

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks News Update.

OFF AGAIN

Peter did arrive home but will fly out again tomorrow for Melbourne (he must have a RESERVED seat!!) so luckily I did catch up with him today for some news. He is only away for a few days on business.

SYDNEY EASTER SALES

Peter spent a great couple of days in the company of Brian Bradly and John Ciprian (funny he always has long days/nights when away with these 2 great friends.

They were pleased to sell ENCOSTA DELAGO/MAROONED LADY for $375,000 and also retained a share so with Chris Wallace as the Trainer they are looking forward to a great career. It is also a great boost for the money that is being injected into the Sydney Racing Fraternity.

WEDDING BELLS

Peter is looking forward to the Wedding of Emily - Rob Wiley's Daughter, this weekend and said it should be a fantastic event and will enjoy catching up with the boys.

GET WELL WISHES

Unfortunately WANGA had a nasty accident and will be laid up for quite some time with a broken pelvis. It is certainly a lot quieter at the farm, we are all missing his cheeky face and quick wit.

WE ALL SEND OUR VERY BEST WISHES FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY

AMELIA PARK

TO MUCH FOR 1

Peter has taken some pressure off Christy and divided the workload. Owen will now be in charge of the Racing and Christy will handle the paddocks and also the Breeding Horses. It is working well.

HORSES RESTING

The horses are all very restful at the moment and will get in added bonus by the paddocks being fertilised and sowed beginning this week to co-incide with the first rains - yes yes yes!!!!

1 HORSE THAT IS STANDING OUT IS - SONGBIRD - Peter and Staff are very confident this horse will perform well by its efforts at the Farm.

MASSAGE & DAY SPA

We can't say enough about Vicki and her great Massages. Her workload has increased twofold since advising current and new Clients that she is available 7 days a week.

MAKE THE CALL AND FEEL REJUVENATED.

"THE" HOUSE

Is coming along in leaps and bounds and is looking magnificent. Not to long away now.

BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY MESSAGE
My apologies to GLENN - the Staff sent you Happy Birthday Greetings for your 60th on the 9th April. He did say people tend to forget you when you hit 60. So sorry Glenn.

I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weather while it lasts and look forward to sending our report next week.

regards
Shelley
