AMELIA TO KALGOORLIE

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks News Update at Amelia Park.

KALGOORLIE
AMELIAS DANCER
SUNDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER

Unfortunately Peter can't make the trip to Kalgoorlie, due to House commitments but would have loved to be there in the action.  Hoping for a good barrier draw, and if so it should be in the top at the line.  Hopefully Amelia travels well on Saturday and wakes up raring to go on Sunday.
GOOD LUCK AND GO ALL THE WAY!

Peter has a friend who runs the Kambalda Hotel and said they now have some vacancies for the Kalgoorlie Round.  Apparently all the accommodation is booked out in Kalgoorlie.  If anyone is looking to head to to the Races you call call Sue on 0427862265.  It is about 50km from Kal but well worth the travel to enjoy the Races.

WEDNESDAY
RUBACUORI
This Syndicate Horse is set for hopefully a good showing, it has all the ingredients for some winning races.

ITS GETTING CLOSER
Peter is rapped that the House is getting nearer completion.  This weekend he will be busy with Sculptures and Paintings being installed.  It is full on with workmen coming and going from early am to late pm.  WE are all very excited for Peter, it has been a lengthy project for him.

HOLIDAY TIME
We say Happy Holidays to Yo Yo who will be away for approximately 1 week.

WELCOME MAT OUT
Abbas comes home this weekend and he will be a welcome sight.  He will be a bit sore for the first few days after coming off a long long break but of course we won't give him much sympathy.

ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY
Our hearts go to Owen who had a bad kick in the face last week, broken teeth and lots of stitches and swelling.  We couldn't believe Owen returned to work the very next day, couldn't talk, couldn't eat but there he was at 4am. That certainly shows his dedication to his horses which have had great success since he commenced at Amelia Park.
I think the staff got stuck into him while he couldn't answer back!!!
WHAT A DEDICATED TROUPER

And lastly, PETER IS LOVING THIS RAIN.

Enjoy your Racing everyone and look forward to next week.

regards

Shelley
