HORSES, HORSES, HORSES EVERYWHERE

Hello and welcome to this weeks News from Amelia Park.

BACK FROM BALI
Peter returned Sunday from one hot place to another.  He said he achieved all he had to do and had time for a relax, so back and raring to go.

RACING
This is what we are here for!!!

RIO MOONLIGHT
BUNBURY RACE 5
THURSDAY 14TH
He has drawn an awkward barrier but the good news is his fitness is great.   Dion said to have a change and can get a 3kg claim by using our old employee and great friend of Amelia  Park - Kevin Bohorun.  Kevin is on a winning streak with 2 wins at Ascot and leading Jockey at Bunbury.  So everything is set for a great run.

BUNBURY TRIALLS  -  WHAT A DAY IT WILL BE!!!
FRIDAY 15TH
SYNDICATE HORSES
RUBACUORI,  PANTS ON FRIAR  AND  SPECIAL HARVEST
AND
BARELY RICH  -  PETERS HORSE
I think there will be a few Owners there to cheer all the horses over the line.

SONGBURG
ASCOT SATURDAY 16TH - RACE 6
Peter is looking forward to seeing how this lovely Filly performs over the 1000m.

DREAM MERGER
TRIAL ASCOT
MONDAY
This horse coming along nicely in his preparation, still big and chunky so a Trial will give a good view of how many weeks away from starting.

MAKE YOUR MOVE
Unfortunately scratched on Saturday.  All signs were good up until Saturday when rider said after a prep run he had a runny nose.  Vet has put him on antibiotics and will keep an eye on him and see after a week if it has cleared up.

BIG 35 YEAR CELEBRATION AT THE FARM SATURDAY
FOR ADRIAN
V & V WALSH & WOOLWORTHS will help Adrian celebrate this wonderful achievement in his career.  Woolworths have certainly been lucky in having Adrian on their team for so many years.
Peter said the Syndicate is very fortunate to also have Adrian involved as he is passionate and he puts a 100% Voluntary effort into the Syndicate.  He is always at the Farm early on the weekends to watch all the horses and forever taking photos.

Peter said  " Adrian was a devout Golf Player until the day I introduced him to Horses.  He hasn't touched a golf stick since."

PETER AND THE STAFF AT AMELIA PARK WISH ADRIAN
A WONDERFUL DAY OF CELEBRATION
WE ALL ENJOY HIS VISITS AND CHATS

LATE NIGHTS
Peter  bought Annie's friend Jade back from Perth on Sunday who arrived from China, I don't think they have hit the bed before midnight each night.  The weather and setting is glorious for sitting outside on the Lake at Peter's house.

ENJOY YOUR RACING AND HOPE WE HAVE SOME GREAT RESULTS FOR ALL.

regards

Shelley
