QUIET WEEK OF RACING

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks News update from Amelia Park.

RACING:
MADAME DE AMELIA
BAD NEWS AT LAST WEEKS RACE
Madame was found to be bleeding so she has come home for rehabilitation and will probably be out  for about 4 months.

SONGBURG
NIGHTMARE CAMPAIGN
A disastrous end to a shocking campaign, Songburg has torn ligaments and will also be out for about 4 months.  Peter still believes there is something more to give so the waiting game begins.

So after that bad news, Peter will fly to Brisbane on the 3rd June for the Yearling Sales to look for some future Champions, KEEP THE NEW BLOOD COMING.
SYNDICATE HORSES
Owners would have received their Updates from Dion, so most are home at Amelia Park either Agisting or Recuperating from surgery.  Test Flight and Lightning Burst are in training at the moment and everyone looking forward to their trials in the not to distant future.

ESPERANCE
Peter and Brett are off on Thursday for a few days to visit with some of the Lamb producers and its a good time for Peter to catch up for a few Dinners.

Peter had a busy week  and finished off the at the Eagles Match, he did do a lot of cheering he said and got us over the line.

All work no play this week at Walsh's so he looks forward to a group of friends coming to stay for the weekend with no doubt one of his fabulous Dinner Parties.

The Stables are bursting at the moment and the staff are 100% flat out riding.

LOTS OF TRAVEL
Peter was telling me his travel diary for the next couple of months.  The suitcases wont have time for an airing by the sounds of it, China, Bali, Brisbane, China again etc.

Enjoy your weekend everyone and until next week - enjoy the sunshine and even more the beautiful rain.

regards

Shelley
