CHILLED TO THE BONE

Hello everyone and welcome to the weeks News from Amelia Park.

HOW COLD HAS IT BEEN FOLKS!!!  Unfortunately not enough rain coming down to all the Farmers so lets hope July does the trick.

HOME FOR A REST
Peter arrived home from Melbourne looking a tad weary.

He really enjoyed catching up with Robbie Wiley, could only have a few brews as he was very busy with his Football.  Luckily (or unlucky!!) that Phil Matera and some mates were there to give him some headaches.  Peter said you feel 20 at 2am but a definite 100 by 9am.

RACING:
REPRISAL
BELMONT SAT 13TH
RCE 3
Peter said they are not expecting too much but Reprisal will give its best for a good tidy run.

PANTS ON FRIAR
Disappointing race as it was very slow and bunched up so difficult to get out for a run.  Will run again in 2 weeks in the Belmont Classic 2200m.  Friar is a good horse and will go along way, all positive showings.

THE GOOD WORK HAS TO TURN
AND FILL THE EMPTY POCKETS

Peter was chuffed that a horse out of Amelias Secret that Peter sold WON 1ST UP IN GEELONG BY 4 LENGTHS

TREADMILL & WATER WALKER
Peter will meet with Owen this week to discuss adding these to Amelia Park, giving the horses every opportunity thats available.  This will add to the now outstanding facilities Peter offers to Owners and their horses.

GUESTS
Wes and Dee are enjoying their time at the Farm.  They are keeping very quiet and just relaxing from his hectic life.  Peter will catch up Thursday for a few quiet ones.
The whisper around the Farm is that Wes has been keeping Vicki very busy having Massages BUT ALSO a few Facials, sorry big Wes - they aren't working!!!

Peter will have a busy weekend babysitting Costa while Brett and Tegan take off to the Races.  He does so enjoy having the little fella as often as he can.

Next week its off to China - another busy schedule for Peter.

Enjoy your week everyone

regards

Shelley
