V & V WALSH ANNUAL WEEKEND AT ASCOT

Hello and welcome everyone to this weeks News from Amelia Park.

RACING RESULTS:
MAKE YOUR MOVE - 9TH
Peter said all in all it was a pretty good run.  It certainly is a different horse and with a good barrier draw on next outing should perform well.

HUE AND CRY - 7TH
Was expecting more but came home with shin sore so that explains the result.  Must be patient and all very confident with this horse in the future.

PETROLOGY  -  FIRST
MORNINGTON VICTORIA - 26/3
Peter was thrilled with this big win.  Trained by David Hayes who is doing a great job with this horse.  Peter will be over there next week and is looking forward to watching its next race, hopefully at Flemington.

UPCOMING RACING:

PINJARRA  -  WEDNESDAY 2/4

TONTO - RACE 1
Will be interesting to see how Tonto goes.

SPECIAL HARVEST  -  RACE 2
Justin is doing good things and there is a big improvement so Peter is keen to see this race.

Both in the same race so alot of cheering will be happening.

SATURDAY
V & V WALSH DAY AT ASCOT

AMELIAS DANCER  -  RACE 5
THE AMELIA PARK YORK STAKES
Dancer should perform well, likes the 1600m so -  LOOK OUT.  There will be a big crowd to cheer Dancer home.

PANTS ON FRIAR  -  RACE 8
Hopefully the crowd will help get Friar over the line.

ABBASSO  -  WARWICK FARM 9/4
Peter said he is excited with the form of this horse.

BIG WEEKEND
JACKSON'S FRIDAY NIGHT TO START IT OFF,  Looking forward to seeing who has the sore heads after a usually big night.

ASCOT SATURDAY  -  Peter & Greg certainly know how to show their appreciation to Management with this lavish event.  In my opinion, one of the best days of the year!!!!!  CAN'T WAIT.

SUNDAY
EASTER SYDNEY YEARLING SALES
Peter will have to be up bright eyed and bushy tailed to fly on Sunday.

HORSE UP FOR SALE
LOT 17 - FASTNET ROCK/GAMBEI COLT
It has come from GOOD STOCK SO HE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO A FAIR PRICE.

GREAT FEW DAYS OF RAIN
It was so wonderful to see some of the dust settle and virtually watch the grass and trees smile, not to mention the babies having a frolick.

ITS A BUSY RACING WEEK SO EVERYONE ENJOY AND LOOK FORWARD TO REPORTING TO YOU NEXT WEEK.

regards

Shelley
