ARRIVED HOME SAFELY

Greetings everyone, I hope you all had a good week and enjoying the rain but not the cold and report to you on the happenings at Amelia Park.

HOME SAFE & SOUND
Its great to see Peter arrive home safely in the wee hours of Sunday morning. By stopping off at Hong Kong for a few days I think has helped the jet lag a bit.
Peter said it is the longest trip away for a while and he really missed the farm.
The enjoyable part for him is coming home to see that the farm staff have been looking after everything as if it was their own. He is very appreciative to everyone and passed comment that it is looking beautiful and THE CREEK IS RUNNING.

BACK TO RACING

BELMONT WEDNESDAY - RACE 1
CHIRON - 1400M FIRST START
Peter is looking forward to this race, Chiron has been drawn outside but looking for a good finish and will be keenly watched on this first up performance. He will then be bought straight back to the farm. They believe this magnificent looking horse has a great future ahead.

NORTHAM THURSDAY - RACE 7
TIME FOR BLACK - 1600M
Pricey is very confident this horse will be hard to beat so Peter is excited about both days of racing.

BEING SHIPPED OUT
BROOD MARES
A number of Peters Brood Mares will be shipped all over Australia in the next two weeks in preparation to be served. We will again look forward to next years foals.

AMELIA PARK PRODUCTS
Peter informed me that the October launching of Amelia Park Products and Wines is well underway and we will keep you informed beforehand so keep an eye open.

CANADA & LAS VEGAS
Peter thoroughly enjoyed his time with daughter Sammy in Canada. He admired the beautiful Scenery and sights that Sammy showed them. Sammy will be returning home in January with her partner who Peter says will fit in nicely as he loves fishing and camping. Peter is very much looking forward to her homecoming.
He then spent several days in Las Vegas (I am very envious) which he said was a fantastic place to see. I am still waiting to catch up with him to hear more and see the photos I hope he took!!

AMELIA PARK
Peter was very pleased with the progress of the Golf Driving Range and Brett is working hard finishing off the planting and landscaping surrounds. I still can't get anyone interested in retrieving the golf balls from the dam but I am working on it.
His residence is moving along as planned and he said he came across some excellent Paintings while he was away which will suit the Cigar Room so they are being shipped home.

RACING SYNDICATE
Peter informed me that he will be starting another Syndicate next year and I will keep you informed with details. If anyone is interested please feel free to email me at geobay@bigpond.net.au for further discussion. I am sure it will be another winner as the previous Syndicates have been, its great to be involved.

I hope you all enjoy your racing this week and look forward to reporting next week.

regards

Shelley
