HERE TODAY - GONE AGAIN

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks report.

RACING THIS WEEK
CHIRON - BELMONT WEDNESDAY RACE 3
This is exciting - Everyone looking forward to this race, putting a lot of hope in Chiron and have been told should be a good bet to be on. COME ON CHIRON.

YOUNGSTERS
Lou's stables are mostly full of the young ones coming thru so pretty quiet racing at the moment but boy it will be exciting times to come.

SATURDAY BIRTHDAY RACE DAY
Peter is taking Wanga to the races this week to celebrate Wanga's Birthday. I have told Peter to have a quiet Friday night because when those 2 get together it is usually a very very late night.

GONE AGAIN
I was looking forward to catching up with Peter this week for a few wines but on Sunday he flew out again. He is in Kuala Lumpur on business and will return on Thursday.

SCOOP SHOOT
Peter reported that the photo shoot went very well and the weather was perfect on the day. The article will be out in September and I will keep you updated with the details.

OUR STAR JOCKEY
We are thrilled for Kevin Bohorun who races in Kalgoorlie most weekends. He bought home a great 1st and 2nd on the 18th and I should have been on both rides as 1st paid out $21.00 and 2nd paid out $26.00. Well done Kev and keep up the great work.

AMELIA PARK
We awoke on Thursday last to find a huge gum had decided to drop and in doing so smashed the horse fence and landed in the paddock. Luckily the horses weren't harmed but had to be moved quickly. The staff riders had to walk their horses past quietly so as not to spook them on their way to the track. The chain saws got to work and all cleared within a few hours.
Everything else at the farm is running smoothly and I have to repeat it again THE CREEK is rapidly creeping up the banks and looking splendid. The bird life are in their glory and starting to look around for a safe and cosy place to build their nests. Its a great time of the year.

Here's to a great weekend for everyone and look forward to reporting next week.

regards

Shelley
