2 NEW FOALS AT COOLMORE

Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks News from Amelia Park.

TRIP TO COOLMORE
Peter will try again and leave this weekend to fly to Coolmore to inspect his Mares and the 2 newcomers
out of High Chapparell and Duke of Marmalade.  Next week 2 more are due to foal from Fastnet Rock.  It's exciting to see new life coming from Good Stock.

AMELIAS DANCER - BLOSSOMING
At home at the moment and has been having a ball, he is in excellent condition and raring to get back on the track.  Dion will take him back to Perth to prepare him for the Northam Cup at the end of the month.

SYNDICATE HORSES

MAKE YOUR MOVE
Dion reported that at this stage there are no suitable races so has sent him home on a big high and will enjoy being back in the paddock for a few weeks, well deserved.

RIO MOONLIGHT
The report on Rio was good, a big improvement on its first run.  Rio is in good nick and will nominate for the next week or so and see what length race would be the best option.

RUBUACORI
Having a big spell, up to its knees in feed and looking good.

PRANKSTER PETER
For people that know Peter will appreciate his antics.  On the weekend of AFL Grand Final Day when Rob Wiley, Phil Matera and families were at the Farm, Peter had told all the children that there was a bomb scare announcement for Amelia Park and said they must all be out of the house at 1pm.  The kids made sure they were outside and sure enough at 1pm a plane circled and then swooped on them several times sending them screaming and running in all directions whilst Peter was chuckling inside.  His good friend John the Pilot was also chuckling.

WHAT IS THE OLD SAYING  "IT COMES BACK TO BITE YOU"

Sure enough after that weekend Peter came down with the FLU!!!!!  and went on to SHARE IT WITH ANNIE!!!

I can't rave enough about the Farm, it is looking fantastic especially watching the horses having a wow of a time in the lush paddocks - SPRING IS THE BEST!!

Enjoy your weekend everyone

regards

Shelley
